HEMP SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER (not on a serious note)
February 21st, 2020
Even though it makes my blonde locks ultra smooth, I am greatly concerned about setting off infrared signals from helicopters searching for marijuana plants during illegal crop season. HaHa.
I was not even using this green shampoo/conditioner a few+ seasons ago when the helicopter hovered directly over me at the tennis court. I had to hold onto my hat it was so close. Drop an emergency rope ladder close only I wasn’t in distress…
NORMAN DIPITY
February 20th, 2020
Who is that? Well, last summer I had a little tiny grey mouse in the garage that I fed penuts and some junk food during snack time. My parents taught me not to feed the rodents. I didn’t listen. I think they are adorable! He appeared when I was working. I named him Norman Dipity.
METAL DOOR PEEP HOLE
February 19th, 2020
Some time ago I heard a noise on the sun porch. When I looked out the peep hole my nose touched the metal door. The darn thing zapped me so hard I thought someone was on the other side with a tazor. I could see blue sparks! It made me go cross eyed, that bad.. Since then I have learned to de-charge myself first by touching the door with my elbow.

Below:
Image 1 | Pumpkin age 12 around Christmas time.
Image 2 | Pumpkin enjoying the small shelter house I built.
After, battling an illness for several months, we came home and Pumpkin the brat cat had passed away while we were out. He will be greatly missed. We buried him this evening in a wood casket in a spot that he loved to go to when I took him outside with me. He has been in our family for 12 years and I cannot believe he is no longer in our household.

RECENT DOINGS, NEWS,
& UPDATES
January 16th, 2019
We bought a house around 2011ish and have done many updates to customize it to our liking. I like it and it has nice curb appeal. I love to garden (flowers, herbs, vegetables) and work in the lawn. I enjoy having morning coffee and evening herbal tea on the sun porch while bird watching.
I am currently building a small cabin with a loft in the Wayne National Forest that will accommodate me during outings. There is a small pond that is about 12 feet deep and a fire ring (a must) and is a great spot to star gaze in the evening. I plan to use a solar panel for small electrical items and a wood stove for heat in the winter. Sort of off the grid style.
I have become an antique junkie. I often go weekly. I enjoy collecting crocks & a wide variety of vintage items. I’m running out of room to display them.
I like to travel and have many images to post if I take the time.
I have a numerous amount of hobbies that I rotate through regularly to occupy my time including growing a variety of succulents & plants. I still have 1 reef aquarium, 1 guppy nano tank, and the garden pond, which is frozen right now. I have a mated pair of zebra finches, Itty & Bitty, a turtle dove, Kooey (kickin’ chicken), the brat cat, Pumpkin, and the new lil (deer head tea cup) Chihuahua, Delilah Sunshine.
Sometimes, I do wood working in the garage and I have become familiar with using the different equipment including the saws, but I still will not use the table saw because it freaks me out. I also like to re-purpose items.
I still enjoy sketching, art, & photography. I practice tennis. I mountain bike on wooded trails in the warm months and go on camping / hiking trips.

AQUARIUM CABINET
February 1st, 2015
I completed this during fall 2014, something tall enough to comfortably clean the tank with no need to stoop over.
I planned, designed, measured, and marked the cut lines. Next those pieces were cut for me with the miter saw. Most importantly taking into account the weight of a fully stocked 10 gallon reef aquarium. Well over 100lbs.

I dabble in paint at times. I also constructed the wood picture frames. My photographic prints on Inet will be available in these frames.

SOUTH 2012
September 17th, 2012
I arrived home from the south recently.
During the time I was there I took a full spider web to the face and the spider was hanging out on my nose while mountain biking through the forest.
I nearly stepped on a water moccasin in the southern black water swamp area. Three steps more and I’d be in the hospital receiving several anti venom treatments for many days. Thank you for pulling me back and saving me from that one! I didn’t see it even though the signs before the trail had warnings against these, poison, and gators. Oddly enough I was less worried of the gators we came across.
I picked up a starfish along one of the island communities we visited thinking it was dried and dead,,,, ack damn it, NOPE it was slimy and very much alive…..AHHHH I’ll just leave that at the beach, EEEK!
So now I’m home dealing with a high fever and freezing like mad from the temperature difference, I’m hoping that is it.
Thinking I should turn around and head south again in the clean, salty, and warm air:) I will post a ton of pictures once I recuperate.
Oh and fuel prices are at least $.20 less there than what they are here.
I prepared my, “MUTT” bike (no one has one like it unless you have someone to weld the V-brakes on the back of this particular frame) days in advance for the trip. The last thing I wanted was to have an issue with it in the middle of mosquito land. As expected the bike was terrific throughout! Who figure I did build it after all.

UPDATE
October 22nd, 2011
I really dislike taking care of myself when I am ill. I’m not great at it at all. For instance I sneezed and spilled hot coffee all over me. I ate vegetable soup with a fork because I did not feel like washing a spoon. I have been using the same multipurpose mug for coffee, Theraflu, soup, and H20 – but not all mixed together . If all of that is not pathetic enough (laughing)… Pumpkin the brat cat is pestering the crazy out of me! …After 4 years he has grown into his ears.
REQUESTING TWO, “FEEL BETTER” ITEMS
October 20th, 2011
I have not had a simple sick sniffle for several years or the flu until I woke up this morning. I am 100% whiny when I am not feeling well and today the only thing I want to have is homemade chicken noodle soup with a Gatorade drink. The taste is stuck in my mind. Since I do not know how to master that nor do I feel like getting off the couch to open a can of yuck soup (it’s not the same), I will sit here, whine, sip on a berry Theraflu (non drowsy), and work on a project or two at my laptop. Feel completely free to bring me those two requested items .

WHEN THE EARTH STARTS TO RUMBLE
August 23rd, 2011
I was in the ultra pink room when it started to rumble slightly. I thought I was experiencing a house haunting. I went on about my day and then a friend called. I said this may sound odd, but the house was shaking today and I cannot figure out what it was. What if it is haunted? She started laughing. What? It was a quake. Tammy the house is not haunted. I am very relieved of that. I thought I was going to have to call an exorcist and have it splashed with holy water…

NEW EXPERIENCES & MORE QUIRKY MOMENTS
May 29th, 2011
A lot of new experiences and even more quirky moments….
New Experience: I can keep flowers alive. They look half way decent.
Quirky: I drove into the work bench with the truck. I know, embarrassing right? I’m ok lol. Really I’m alright. Even if it was a head on collision I was not traveling at a super sonic speed. Laughing – It was only a tiny tap. The response, “I told you, you always need to wear your helmet”…That is too funny!
Another Quirky Moment: I put the recyclables (I save trees and plastic..you can too, rehehe) out on the wrong evening. I really did not want to walk my silly a$$ out front to get them. Yes, I even thought about waiting until dark. Head down and I was doing so well – laughing, but who would I be without the quirkiness?
New Experience: I decided that I am going to replace my 7 year old laptop with something zippier. It’s still kicking it, but the screen is detaching from the main..Yes, I am sad. It’s been a trusty peace of worn technology.

I’ve only truly trusted 1 friend in the past (you) to take care of the aquariums while I’ve been out of town the entire time I’ve been keeping reef species, which says a lot. Other times I’ve set everything on auto timers and monitored them with one of the security cameras via the laptop at the remote location. I know, clever.

MTB UPGRADE PROJECT UPDATE
June 29th, 2010
Almost complete. I have to order pedals. I have to install rear v-brakes and it is finished. BTW the bolt came loose (thanks:) so the new suspension fork is in place. I love this bike. It reminds me of my high school bike. I have been hitting the trails for awhile. The grateful dead scull decal from my old bike rides with me on this one too. Perhaps I will post images of what the frame looked like prior to all the hard work.
MTB UPGRADE PROJECT
June 24th, 2010
I’m currently customizing a very light weight MTB (mountain bike) frame. I’m replacing most of the parts with Shimano. It’s progressing and I love the light frame. I can pick this bike up & throw it over my shoulder very easily when needed without hurting or wearing myself out. I’ve been busy working on it for a week. I plan to tone in Athens, but also have it dirt trail ready. What a task. The fork is not being replaced until I can remove a very stuck bolt:( I still have to install the crankset and modify the rear frame slightly for v-brakes. The fork that will be put on (if the bolt comes off) has v-brakes installed.

TECH ASIDE, 58 DAYS
June, 16th, 2010
Fifty-eight days of misleading chatter, no fix on the oil spill, but wait there is a cleanup/ restoration plan which is a common sense reaction of the American people regardless of a brilliant piece of documentation that reads “Cleanup Plan” just addressed to the nation. Isn’t that nothing more than a redirection or diversion of what should be the primary focus? A permanent solution? Cleaning is being done. Wildlife is still dying at alarming rates and it will continue to do so. It’s difficult to calmly comment on such a devastating disaster with out getting a bit ticked over it. I’m disgusted. It saddens me to no end. I do not want to see the destruction of ocean life including corals, fish, and invertebrates. I along with the majority of the world are seeing very little being done to prevent this from occurring. 58 days…
A LOT OF A LOT, BUT FEELS LIKE NOTHING – MAYBE IT IS SOMETHING
June, 13th, 2010
A couple of weeks ago I incorporated additional lines of ActionScript into the Artwork, Photographic, and Design image viewers. The code does more than a basic pre-loader, at which only checks to see if the end frame is loaded before allowing the viewer to see content that is already within the documents timeline. The file loads the .SWF dynamically from file. I know I can also do this with just image files and speed things up (non progressive .jpg) which can be loaded the exact same way as I did the .SWF files. A bit more than just displaying a simple object from the library onto stage with ActionScript, but it is still very hassle free to accomplish. The images do not need to be included into the .SWF (reducing file size) and they can be changed out more quickly. I may do that with the 3D just to compare speed and to demonstrate both. I absolutely hate to reduce the quality of my work (even though I do, but not to the extent to where it loses its appeal) just to display it on the fly, but I also have a great understanding that a poster size (very high resolution) 3D image cannot be pulled from any code and expect the Flash viewers to function fast. It does not happen and is obvious especially having the knowledge of what it takes to render these things. I remember bogging down a few computers just trying to get them ready for print. I don’t have a monster machine:( I figure if the Flash viewers that I code load on my laptop fast they are fine. My trusty 2004 model laptop with a finger burn mark worn in the touchpad…Seriously. It is not often took into consideration all the other technological aspects that goes into preparing the content for Flash in order to get great results and quality. When I do find a small undesirable glitch during testing, I fix it with no issue or hassle. That is part of the process. Test again, post to the Internet, and test once more just to be certain. It’s an entire process that I go through on routine without even thinking twice about it just as much as I recheck the validation of the websites periodically. I don’t like glitches at all. A nagging annoyance that fills my head until it is resolved. I’m the same way with tennis. A sport that requires a ton of practice to perfect, a lot of energy, and effort, but like design I find it to be incredibly addicting. I do lose patience when I keep slamming the net over n over at times more so than I would like, but I do not quit. If I get too frustrated the net will come down. That is all there is to it. Problem solved…I’m joking!
DO NOT DISTURB
June,15th, 2010
I usually disappear one day a week of every week. I set a day aside to do aquarium maintenance which includes water changes, salt and chemical mixing, glass cleaning, and the filtration systems are took apart and washed out. I know boring to most, but oddly enough I enjoy all aspects of reef keeping. So while many people are out at sports bars or clubs, I am here in my dork gear (goggles, gloves, hat) mixing, measuring, and testing.

May, 28th, 2010
I lost two days this week. I thought for certain it was Wednesday.. yesterday. Wow….
I coded 1 image viewer in 9 different keyframe & ActionScript configurations. Yes my brain bends that much.
The portfolio is progressing. I favor the artwork and flash pages of the site, but there are many other things I am proud of in the portfolio. I plan to add the 3D on a separate page as well and fine tune the index/profile page with additions. I have the graphic design page with the web mockups, logos, and other graphic design work to include. A pre-loader was added to the artwork and photographic flash viewers. I will be adding more images to the photographic page.
FEELS LIKE CHRISTMAS IN GEEKVILLE
May, 23rd, 2010
I’m reviewing CS5 software and OMG. I’m driving everyone insane rambling about the new features. Adobe added a new text engine to Flash, new brushes, and pre-built code snippets to assist with the ActionScript 3.0 learning curve……And sweet Jesus the Photoshop additions will cut down tedious tasks with new selection tools and a lightening fast method to remove objects from photographs. It automatically fixes the area where it was removed. My eyes may be spared, hehe. Dreamweaver has added the capability of developing with CMS systems which will be great for this blog:) Indesign has interactive support that exports as .SWF for playback. I may pass out with excitement!
PORTFOLIO UPDATES
May, 22nd, 2010
I’ve been fine tuning the portfolio. I still have a few things to complete and I think I will be satisfied. Mygirlgames will focus mainly on video game and virtual world development and will be losing a few pages. Some of the work is being moved to the portfolio. I may post the full version of the game for download as well.

Update 11:34 PM: Most work is down from mygirlgames. It’s been up for awhile now, but I don’t really have time to keep updating and the online portfolio is much more important so what is not on the site as of yet will be added this week. After testing I found a glitch with the Flash photographic viewer. I may put a loader in this week to prevent it from behaving erratically while loading.
PHP BASED APPLICATION – NOW LIVE
May, 11th, 2010
Aquatic Solutions featured aquariums page is now live. Final thoughts and more info about the program.
FUN THURSDAY
May 6th, 2010
I must say I am feeling much better than last Thursday. While most of the week my nose is stuck in this laptop and my geek books /studying. Today is a time to relax my brain and basically do anything that I want to do….within reason of course. The wild child that loves to have a blast still lingers around from time to time. Hey- I’m not perfect! I don’t want to be. I’ve said it many times. It’s life, have fun! It doesn’t always have to be about work and today is my day. The agenda? I don’t know. I basically wing it.
This weeks progress: I did get the program finished I’ve been working on as I knew I would. I’ll post the page on Aquatic Solutions when I get the chance. I’ve been fine tuning my portfolio site and making more room for additional work. The rest is the usual.
FUNDAY DAMPERED BY EXTREME SENSITIVITY
April 29th, 2010
Funday is my day to do whatever – to goof off. Temporarily put on hold. I got stung from one of the Euphyllia | Frogspawn corals when I was target feeding a couple of other corals. Bastard! It freaking hurt. The tentacles usually just stick slightly to my hand when accidentally brushed against. I guess it was ultra cranky and it attached its tentacle directly on a cut. I woke up early in the a.m. with chills and nausea. A slight allergic reaction from the toxin released. I know, I know gloves (tsk, tsk) and I do wear them when I’m tinkering in the aquarium for an extended amount of time.

A CLEAN CAR IS A HAPPY CAR
March 30th, 2010
I cannot deal with a cluttered or dirty vehicle. Drives me silly. When I say, “cluttered” I’m referring to a couple of H20 bottles, some fuzz, and blonde strands of hair scattered here n there, laughing. I spent a bit of time on this nice and sunny day detailing my car and jamming to tunes. It is so very shiny + brilliantly clean (even though you can see in the image cd’s scattered all over the front seat…that is not clutter:) I had to snap a photo from the deck. I know it will rain and ruin the clean reflection. Yes, I am that type. The photo happy chic that always has a camera in hand or near.
WINTER RUST + TENNIS = SORE AS HE!!
March 21st, 2010
Headed to the court yesterday and today. Trying to shake off the winter rust and get into the tennis groove again. Oh man I am sore as he!!. I can really feel the effect of the winter hibernation. OUCHO:( I know I’m going to get a lecture for not continually stretching my leg /scar tissue for three months. The muscle spasms feel like someone is squeezing from the inside. Not pleasant, but not unbearable. A leg wrap, icy hot (miracle in a tube), and the couch will take care of it. Tonight is going to be a movie night.
COUCH VIEW
March 17th, 2010
A more visible image of the monster TV and 1 of the fully stocked reef aquariums. The TV makes it look mini. I have one in every corner:) and an empty 55 gallon setup that I’m going to put in storage for now.
New coral images posted.
PS3 – I LOVE TOYZ
March 12th, 2010
The addition. Grinning huge:) REHEHE. I’m anxious for movie and game night.
BASKETBALL CHARACTER COMPLETION
March 1st, 2010
The basketball character is complete. I am satisfied with the animation for the most part. I’m moving on to the Hybrid Owl. This will turn out to be a favorite flash animation. It has a certain clarity.
OPINIONS THAT DO NOT MATTER

Everyone is entitled to their own thoughts of another; however, pure ignorance is derived from those who express opinions out of inabilities, insecurities, and jealousies.
HOW A WEBSITE GOES TO HE!!
December 4th, 2009
I was sent this link. How a website goes to he!!. Thank you, lol. It is so very true and hilarious. I have been there. No current clients have done this (thank you for being so very pleasant to work with), but I have experienced this type of personality before. I only hold so much patience and people who behave like this draw the line between pushing my patience, testing it (which I know has been done intentionally a time or two), or are completely ignorant to why they hired a web designer. Either or design he!! cracks me up.
THIS MADE MY DAY
December 2nd, 2009
My day just became great. I log into Yahoo Messenger and I have an offline message waiting for me from my precious 5 year old nephew, Dylan. The same little guy that sketched the wonderful Sponge Bob picture (I love this sketch the most over any of mine) for me that is posted under the new artwork link of this blog. The message reads:TO ANT TAME FRUME DYLAN I LOVE YOU TO NIGHT I MIS YOU .
Laughing, how great is that? Thank you Lil D. I love and miss you too. I’m a very lucky, “Ant”.
PS3 or TENNIS
November 29th, 2009
My great friend who has been on me to get a PS3 is really going to kick me hard. I was given a choice today. Go get the PS3 or go to the tennis court. Most are thinking awesome! You chose the PlayStation3, right? RIGHT?
Nada, lol.
Are you serious? ARE YOU SERIOUS?
It was a nice day outside, great time for tennis.
Laughing,,,,sorry? I really want a tennis ball machine.
ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM
November 9th, 2009
Here are a couple of quick (I’ll snap better ones later) digital images of the toys. A PS3/Blu-ray will be an addition soon. One of the reef aquariums is located off to the right. The 60 inch is at a comfortable viewing range in our pad and room to spare for tennis and golf.
LISTS
November 1st, 2009
It is really wacky how important lists are in my life. If I don’t follow a notebook of things to do jotted down I get off track and distracted. If it is there beside my laptop I focus on it until everything is complete or it is added to. It’s been sometime since I’ve wrote one down. I’ve become a bit lost without it so I’m going back to this silly routine of list writing.
REFINISHING PROJECT
October 11th, 2009
This is a stepping stool my sisters and I had when we were tiny tykes. I never could part with it. I found it in the closet the other day shabby and broken. I have been planning to refinish it for my 2 year old niece Ava for some time now. So today was the day I decided to fix it. I sanded the old paint off. I had to repair the side as it was cracked completely apart. I put the cracked portion back together with Elmer’s wood glue which worked perfectly. I’m going to paint it white and light pink. I will post a finished image when I’m done.
Finished it….
